About Sylvain

Sylvain Malfroy-Camine works in painting and drawing, though not necessarily medium-specific. His work is situated on a surrealist foundation but includes other narratives such as conceptualism, music, and literature.

Born into a French family in Burlingame, California, he earned a BA in Art from UMass Boston, where he received the departmental Book Prize and the Ruth Butler travel scholarship to produce studio work in Venice, Italy. He has exhibited at the Arlington Center for the Arts and in the greater Boston area. 

He currently lives in Arlington, MA
